Pros/Cons
PROS:
Beautiful and easy adventure for kids.
Amazing wildlife ( turtles, deer, rabbit, raccoon, squirrels , weasel, rodents, frogs, salamanders, turtles, lizards and snakes). Oh, and LOADS of birds.
CONS:
Really there are not too many cons to this trip. All around it 's a perfect spot to take the kids. Beautiful views and amazing wildlife make this an excellent PNW kids adventure spot!
However, no dogs are allowed, which means no dog poop but it also means you can't enjoy this beautiful spot with your best furry friends. Last possible con is the trail is quite exposed in most parts, making this something you may want to avoid in the middle of the day on very hot and sunny days.
